It's been a haunting two decades for the mom of Bethany Markowski. The 11-year-old disappeared on March 4, 2001 during a visitation order with her dad. Her parents were going through a difficult divorce, when she left her mom's home for her second unsupervised visit with her father. The weekend had several twists and turns, as Bethany and her dad visited several cities before he claims he took the girl to the Old Hickory Mall in Jackson, Tennesse. Bethany's dad says the girl walked in by herself, while he took a nap in his vehicle in the parking lot. A few hours later, the search for Bethany would began after he called the girl's aunt to say that his daughter was missing. Bethany's aunt was waiting at the hand-of location for the girl and his father. The aunt would then call Bethany's mom to give her the devastating news that Bethany was missing.
Beyond The Case spoke with Bethany's mom who has been on a two-decade long search for her daughter.

Where is Amanda Kay Jones?
Amanda Kay Jones was pregnant with her second child when she disappeared on August 14, 2005. The last person who saw her was the man who many believed was the father of her unborn child. There was one other person who spoke with Amanda over the phone before the pregnant mom vanished. That woman says Amanda seemed nervous and kept repeating a number.

Her husband told Albuquerque police detectives that he also noticed something strange when he was remodeling their basement.The family called the police, and cadaver dogs were called in twice.

The disappearance of Jennifer Pentilla has long haunted detectives who tried to find her for decades. The teen went missing in 1991, in southern New Mexico, while she was on a single mission of faith by bicycle. Beyond The Case learned that when her camping gear was found, her bike was missing but another bicycle was left in its place. We also learned one man, who detectives considered a person of interest, told narcotics officers he "killed a girl." Here is an extended version of the interview we had with a detective who has not given up finding Jennifer.
